Our evening photo shoot with Meagan was such an amazing experience, and will forever be a most special summer memory for us. Meagan is one of the most fantastically down to earth people I have ever met! She not only has a tremendous eye for photography and attention to detail; she also has the most wonderful way of making you feel instantly comfortable. She chose a beautiful venue for our shoot, and we felt like we were hanging out with a close, dear friend. Consequently, the smiles and laughs came easily, resulting in very natural photos that really captured the essence of our family. Our photos are gorgeous and we are so grateful to Meagan!

My family has had the good fortune to have Meagan Neal capture some very special times in our lives with her camera. Her very special artistry invokes memories that are very special to me. I think that the magic of photography is that it captures one single moment in time so that I can go back and look at it and say, “Yes. This is who we were. This was our life and these moments will never come again.” The photographer’s eye is essential in helping to capture and create a scene that is a powerful reminder. Meagan is able to really know her subjects and capture the emotion of the day or event so that it can be treasured over and over again. She is patient and solid in her art form. While this makes her photo shoots especially enjoyable, more importantly, the final portraits beautifully capture the personalities and emotions of everyone pictured. Meagan has blessed my family with years of portraits that we will always cherish.
Meagan has taken my family’s photos for years and she recently took my daughter’s senior photos. Meagan, simply put, is amazing. She captured Kelly’s personality in every picture and every angle and she was a blast to work with! Her talent, attention to detail, energy, and creativity are only a few of the reasons my family loves her. The family photos she has taken are top-shelf; absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Meagan! She did a great job individualizing the photo shoots for each of my seniors with unique poses and locations that allowed her to capture the best of their true personalities. She made my kids feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the photo shoot (not easy to do with a 17-year old boy who dislikes being photographed). In addition to her beautiful photos, she was so fun to work with. Meagan’s prices are very reasonable, and as part of her package, I received a CD containing edited photos. My only “complaint” is that she produced too many awesome photos to choose from – I wanted them all! :-) I definitely plan to use her again!
Meagan Neal continues to impress and amaze us with her beautiful photographs. She has done numerous photo shoots for us, from engagement photos to newborn and family photos. Meagan does an incredible job combining our requests with her creative vision to capture the most amazing photos taken in our home and our favorite spots in Petoskey!
